Health: A Neglected
Human Right

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one out of every two people1 in the world still lacks access to quality basic, essential health services. All of our projects aim to reduce this alarming statistic. They help strengthen existing health systems by improving their accessibility and increasing their equity and sustainability.
  • Accessible and adapted quality services provided in a safe care environment
  • Competent healthcare personnel
  • Information available for monitoring the services being offered and the population’s health status
  • Support for ensuring the availability of necessary drugs and equipment in health facilities
  • Adequate funding for services
  • Governance and leadership of local actors
  • The right to health, which is closely linked to other fundamental human rights, also requires support for prevention and awareness-raising efforts, and recognition of the determinants of health.
