Dr. Nafissatou Diop Appointed to Santé Monde’s Board of Directors

On December 14, Santé Monde welcomed a new member to its Board of Directors : Dr. Nafissatou Diop, a recognized leader in global health and international development.

Currently Executive Director of the Canadian Association for Global Health, Dr. Diop’s previous experience include leading the African Maternal and Child Health Innovation Initiative and serving as Country Director for Population Council in Senegal.

Ms. Diop holds a PhD in public health and has contributed to the implementation of programs and advancement of knowledge in the sector of international development for over 20 years. Throughout her career, Ms. Diop has been recognized for her commitment to maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, as well as sexual and reproductive health and rights.

The Santé Monde team is delighted to be able to count on her generous involvement. Undoubtedly, her expertise and impressive professional experience will contribute to enriching our collective actions for the health of communities.
